About 200 bikers from Mississippi gathered on the State Capitol steps today to rally for changes to the helmet law. They're asking legislators to make wearing a helmet optional for rider 18 years of age or older.
In addition, they want to create a state-run motorcycle training course funded by an additional surcharge on motorcycle license tags. They are also supporting a law that would increase fines for drivers that violate another driver's (or rider's) right-of-way.
