On New Year's Day, 124 bikers participated in the 5th annual bike run to benefit the Veterans Memorial in Olney Springs, Arkansas. This year's ride was named in honor of Pat McNerney, who died in a biking accident. McNerney had organized the first ride.
Several merchants provided items which were sold off to benefit the Veterans Memorial. The Olney Springs Fire Department got together to cook up chili for the riders. Read the whole story at The La Junta Tribune Democrat.
