Today, my wife and I witnessed a downed biker. We were driving north along Interstate 15, just south of Corona, CA, when traffic started slowing down. I could see dust in the air.
As we got closer, I could see several bikers stopping their motorcycles along the freeway shoulder, and running over to the fallen biker. As we got closer, there were about 10-12 bikers converging to help the guy. The bikers all wore a bright-green colored patch, which led me to believe they were all members of the Vagos. But, I really didn't get a clear look at the patch, I was trying to focus on the fallen biker.
A couple other bikers were trying to pick up his bike, which looked mangled.
As we got to scene, there was debris strewn across the freeway. It looked like pieces of a box spring. Perhaps it flew out of the back of a truck, or someone had it poorly strapped to the roof of their car, I don't know. But it looked like that's what caused the rider to go down.
About a month earlier, on the same freeway, and pretty much near the same place, we witnessed a mattress fly right out of the back of a pick up truck. People think that mattresses are heavy enough to stay put, but they are obviously not.
