ADS Sports Eyewear employed skydivers in a unique effort to test the effectiveness of several popular brands of motorcycle eyewear. According to the company's press release:
The tests that drew the most attention were the "head-down" tests that surpassed 200 mph. Skydivers were asked to exceed normal face-flapping speeds while video flyers captured them simulating every possible wind angle that could be encountered on a highway. The glasses that performed best are being sold by the company on its website. Among the brands that performed best were those from Panoptx Eyewear, Wiley-X, Gatorz Eyewear, and Harley Davidson Eyewear. The others that did not perform well are scattered across the cornfields north of Dallas.
