Those of you in Southern California may be interested in the 3rd Annual Veterans Memorial Day Big Bear Ride. It's put on by the Southern California VTX Riders. It's open to all bikes.
The event benefits the Wounded Warrior Project, a program that provides aid to severely injured service men and women.
When: Saturday, May 27, 2006
Where: Intersection of I-15 freeway and Highway 138 (Silverwood Lake offramp).
The ride takes you along the 138 past beautiful Silverwood Lake, through the forests, to Big Bear where the ride convenes and the party starts. Lunch is at B's Backyard: Lakefront BBQ Restaurant and Bar, 350 Alden Road, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315
