The large smiling man you see in the photo bought us all free drinks at a restaurant last Saturday, after attending West Coast Thunder VII.
We were all eating inside a Mexican restaurant when he walked to our table and explained how impressed he was about our good behavior, friendly demeanor, and intelligence. He said he had been watching and listening to us from just a table away.
His impression of biker clubs was that they were all bad, rude, noisy, and quite simply the dregs of the Earth.
He also mentioned he didn't have any friends, and that he had seen one of our club members riding around town frequently, and was thrilled to know how much of a gentleman he is.
So to thank us, he offered to pay for our beers and margaritas.
When the bill came, he did exactly that.
In other words, when you see bikers acting maturely, you give them free booze.

Glad to hear it! I am writing a piece on bikers for Bizarre magazine and am desperate to get an interview with a biker to either support or refute what the 'experts' have told me. Really just need a biker to get their view of the lifestyle and defence of it across. Hope you can help.

I think you'll get a wide variety of opinions. Bikers are like any other people; they come from all walks of life, have all kinds of likes and dislikes, and they each ride for different reasons.

Thanks, but I would love to get an interview with a biker who belongs to one of the 'gangs'. I know it is a long shot (why should they?) but it would give the piece the necessary balance. Even if it is just one biker's view, at least it is a view and I could maybe gather a few to reflect this variety. Thanks for replying.

What is drinking and riding got to do with your popularity contest ... drinking and riding tells me and non riders how responsible are we as motorists on the roads of your town ??? Consider not publishing drinking and riding stories to fulfill some lost biker image ... be a responsible rider don't drink and ride
