There's a new product out called "Hear Muffs" that might provide some usability for bikers.
It's a head wrap with built-in speakers that you can plug into an MP3 player or satellite radio.
If you wear a half-helmet, it could accomplish three things, one is a solution to ear-buds falling out while riding, two is a way to reduce wind noise, and three is to provide some warmth on cold days.
The way Hear Muffs are designed, though, might be problematic with some helmets. Either you'd need a helmet about one size larger than what you'd normally wear, or you'd have to get novelty skid lid that doesn't cover your forehead.
Or, use it in a state that doesn't require helmets.
