Here's a photo of a BMW R100R painted up in John Deere green and yellow.
This bike is owned by "B. Jan" of San Diego.
He sent the photo to me after Googling for "John Deere Motorcycle". He ended up finding me because a while back I posted a photo of a John Deere lawn mower customized to look like chopper, on another blog I write.
So he sent me a photo of his bike to show me what a "real" John Deere motorcycle looks like.
The funny thing is that I actually saw his motorcycle in person only a few days ago. Me and a group of guys was riding along Mesa Grande Rd in San Diego County, and he happened to zip right past us. Later on, we ended up at The Hideout, and his bike happened to be there also, and spent about 10 minutes checking out the John Deere themed details.
Then out of pure coincidence, he e-mails me.

That's a cool bike!
I saw the Deere Beemer on Hwy 78 recently and enjoyed the view of something creative, unique and very practical. It certainly gave me a chuckle as I rode alongside reminiscing about my years on an airhead.
One of these days I hope to rejoin the airhead fleet on a classic black beauty.
