Cruisers apparently.
Television station WMOR out of Tampa, FL quotes statistics from the Motorcycle Industry Group claiming that...Halen said more women tend to be interested in cruiser-style bikes than sport and dirt bikes. Statistics from the Motorcycle Industry Group back that up, showing that for both genders, the biggest ownership group is traditional, upright seating bikes with 12.1 percent of ownership, followed by 9.7 percent cruiser owners, 6.1 percent touring-style bikes and 5.3 percent are sport bikes in the on-road segment.
So what the heck is a "traditional upright seating bike"? Isn't that a Dyna Wide Glide, or a Sportster? What company makes such an animal?
And how does that differ from a cruiser or touring-style bike? I mean, the Honda Goldwing has been around for over 30 years now, I'd say that's both traditional and upright.
Personally, I admire a woman who likes to lean back a little, grab on to a set of 16" apes, and kick her feet out on some highway pegs.

Thanks for your information!
Many of my ridding buddies in the club BikerKiss.com are riding a Harley, Honda, Yamaha. But I agree with you that most of them are interested in cruiser-style bikes.

many women are forced into cruisers because of the seat-height of other bikes
