If you bought Harley-Davidson accessories from eBay, you may have purchased stolen goods.
Yesterday in Wisconsin, Kerensa D. Davenport was ordered by a Barron County Court Judge to stay away from eBay, after she was convicted of shoplifting items from the Rice Lake Harley-Davidson dealership, and selling them on eBay.
According to The Chronotype newspaper...
A Barron woman has been ordered to stay off eBay as a condition of a $5,000 cash bail set in a fourth criminal case recently filed against her.I think there are an awful lot of stolen goods showing up on eBay, and something which eBay needs to address. eBay is a great place to sell stuff, but they must take more responsibility in fighting hot goods. Otherwise, people will feel encouraged to steal more stuff.
That's because Kerensa D. Davenport, 35 was allegedly caught by Barron County Sheriff's Department detectives trying to sell items she stole from the Rice Lake Harley Davidson store on the popular Web site.
