The State of New York has a bill in the Assembly that would require motorcycle dealers to check for necessary credentials before selling a motorcycle.
Assembly Bill 9434 would require dealers to make sure the person they are selling a motorcycle to possesses a "Class M" driver's license.
The bill is currently assigned to a subcommittee.
You can read the text of the bill here...

I hate new Laws but some are necessary and I think this is a good one,. Can you buy a car and drive it off the Lot with out a Valid License?
