Last January I mentioned a new television series, "Sons of Anarchy".
Today, the Hollywood Reporter announced that FX has officially picked up the series, and should beging airing this September.
Interestingly, the cable channel will have some competition with HBO's "1%", another motorcycle club drama series.
Then add to that, the summer release of the film, "Hell Ride" by Quentin Tarantino. Looks like this year is the year of 1%er entertainment. I guess all we need now is a sequel to Wild Hogs.
Ok, maybe not.

Hell Ride is not "by" Quentin Tarantino, he's only executive producer. it's written and directed by Larry Bishop. Check out IMDB, the review there will make you forget you ever heard of the movie and kill any expectation you may have for it.

WOW! Starting with it's name, "SONS OF ANARCHY," this new TV series promises to be fresh and exciting! What could be better than watching a group of sexy bad-boys ride Harleys across California?? Plus, FX has had the BEST new shows and writing that I've seen in recent years. And the cast?? Well, Tommy Flanagan, Charlie Hunum, Katie Segal, to mention a few, always deliver the goods. Yeah, it's about time somebody made a TV show about bikers. Being from Milwaukee, home of Harley Davidson, I can speak for many of my homies, WE CAN'T WAIT UNTIL IT AIRS IN SEPTEMBER!!!
