A brushfire broke out along US 129, the stretch of highway known as "The Tail of the Dragon".

The fire was apparently started by a motorcycle crash. A motorcyclist crashed his bike there, and it caught on fire, and spread to brush.

At least 15 acres have already burned, and the fire is expected to burn through Thursday afternoon.

The motorcyclist was not injured.

This comes at a time when Tennessee Highway Patrol have apparently stepped up patrols on the famous highway, and when locals have been complaining about motorcycle riders going way too fast.

I'm sure this isn't going to help.
