I received this letter today from Keith Thomas regarding Jay Leno's 9-11 Memorial Bike...
Frank Davis purchased this motorcycle on eBay in 2001 to show his support for the victims of the 9-11 terror attack. Mr. Davis died in 2003, at the age of 39, while trying to save another man's life. Frank was deeply in debt at the time of his death. He had a large life insurance policy that was sufficient to cover his indebtedness and to provide support for his two daughters. Unfortunately, Frank selected an inappropriate benefactor who took the money and left the day after his funeral providing no support for his two daughters.
Frank's daughters have fought off bankruptcy, repossession and foreclosure since his death. Now the girls know that they must sell their dad's most prized possession, the Jay Leno 9-11 Memorial Harley.

Has anyone tried to find the smuck that ripped off these girls? Love to get some people looking for him and set things straight.

the girls are just as money hungry as franks girlfriend that took the money to begin with. they run franks bussiness to the ground and didnt even think twice. as far as i am concerned the bike should be donated off to where it can continue to raise money for 9/11 as what frank had intended on. not for these money hungry little ~~~~s to party with. i say all this as i am part of this family.

That's a nice bike but I'm not sure if just because of the good cause, someone would pay a lot of bucks to get the bike. Only a collector would do that of course.

This message is for that "ANONYMOUS COWARD" that referred to my sister & me as MONEY HUNGRY BITCHES THAT RAN THEIR DADDY'S BUSINESS INTO THE GROUND.......................
I FEEL SORRY FOR YOUR PATHETIC EXISTANCE. I AM ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT NO MEMBER OF MY FAMILY WOULD EVER DISRESPECT THE SITUATION OR OUTCOME OF MY FATHER'S PASSING.
YOU BETTER BE THANKFUL THAT YOU DID NOT PUBLISH YOUR NAME, BUD, BECAUSE YOU WOULD HAVE SEVERAL ASS WHOOPINS TO RECOVER FROM. (we don't need a contract to guarantee that... no breach there.)
I CAN ONLY THINK OF ONE PERSON WHO WOULD WRITE SUCH A HATEFUL COMMENT.
THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF THE LATE FRANK DAVIS DO NOT APPRECIATE YOUR DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO RUIN THE PURPOSE OF THIS ARTICLE.
