"The Harley-Davidson Street™ 750 and Street™ 500 motorcycles – the first all-new platform from Harley-Davidson in 13 years – are built for urban environments with all-new liquid-cooled Revolution X™ powertrains, nimble agility and the sound and look that lets everyone know they are genuine Harley-Davidson."
The past week we've noticed a lot of chatter on news outlets originating from India, that Harley-Davidson was close to unveiling two new 500cc and 750cc motorcycles to be manufactured in their new plant in Gurgaon, India, and made from raw materials from India, which will keep prices low.
The press release issued from Harley-Davidson makes no mention of where the new Street 500 & 750 are manufactured, or if they'll even be sold in the United States. Currently, the motorcycle market in India is largely dominated by Hondas and Royal Enfields, and India is considered one of the most lucrative motorcycle markets in the world.
Articles we've read published in India expect these bikes to produce 42bhp for the 500c version, and 55bhp for the 750.
