Delaware Police Cracking Down on Bikers

The Delaware News Journal reports that State Police have announced a weeklong effort to crack down motorcycle riders riding dangerously.
The campaign will began today and will continue through Monday.Specific to the enforcement effort, called "Bike Week" for short, Delaware State Police plan to conduct enforcement initiatives in undisclosed areas "where there is high risk of aggressive and impaired driving by motorcyclists," Bushweller said.
In addition, they're asking cagers to call 911 and report any bikers they see riding dangerously.
That's great. Now we'll have these q-tips flooding the 911 call center just because some guy on a Hayabusa passed her by on the freeway.

Independence Ride (East Coast), June 9th, 2007

Riders on the East Coast, mark your calendars for June 9th, 2007 (Saturday) for the Independence Ride.
It's sponsored by ING Direct, the online banking provider. The ride runs from Philadelphia, PA to Wilmington, DE to raise money for charity. What that charity is has yet to be determined.
The event at the end of the ride includes a concert.
