If you want one of those Elvis-edition Harley Davidson FLH's, there's one more left.

Bruce Rossmeyer, who owns the world's largest Harley dealership, says the first 29 of the 30 bikes have been sold. The last one will be auctioned off on eBay with a closing date of January 8, 2008 (the King's birthday).


Rossmeyer designed the Elvis Presley-inspired, custom Harley to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Presley's passing on August 16th. The bikes recreate the personalized 1957 Black FLH model that Presley once owned.

The press release says to go to www.Elvis.com to learn more about this last Elvis edition Harley, but when I went there, I could find anything.

As part of the 30th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death, Harley-Davidson announced it will produce 30 limited edition Harley-Davidson FLH's based on the same 1957 model that the King himself once owned...

The recreated personalized 1957 Black Harley-Davidson Electra-Glide FLH model will be styled after the one Elvis once owned. Only 30 models are being built and will be sold at 12 Harley dealerships around the country. The starting price will be $58,815, and bikes No. 2 through 24 will be sold using a lottery system. Bikes 25 through 29 will be sold at a later date.
