John Deere Concept Motorcycles
by Steve
Wednesday, February 13, 2008
Balaji Rengarajan, who describes himself as car and motorcycle designer, drew these concept John Deere motorcycles, in sport, dirt, and touring styles.

Click image to see a larger sizeUnlike other motorcycles that have been customized in John Deere theme, these drawings look more like something that the John Deere company themselves would design as factory.
The touring model has that tractor front-end look. But it needs bags and a trunk to give it more touring capacity.
Even if John Deere never gets into the business of producing motorcycles, I think they could still just produce some concept motorcycles for shows. What a great way to stir up rumors and get their brand published in all the magazines.

Here's a John Deere themed chopper, built by Lucky 7 Choppers of Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

I photographed this at the 2005 Motorcycle Madness show in Santa Maria, CA.
This continues my John Deere motorcycles thread.

Here's a photo of a Boss Hoss motorcycle decked out in John Deere themed regalia...

I don't know who it belongs to, or how old the photo is. I just happened to stumble across it.
I've photographed a few John Deere themed motorcycles, I'll have to get them all on here and expand the Archive category.

John Deere BMW Motorcycle
by Steve
Monday, March 05, 2007
Here's a photo of a BMW R100R painted up in John Deere green and yellow.

This bike is owned by "B. Jan" of San Diego.
He sent the photo to me after Googling for "John Deere Motorcycle". He ended up finding me because a while back I posted a photo of a John Deere lawn mower customized to look like chopper, on another blog I write.
So he sent me a photo of his bike to show me what a "real" John Deere motorcycle looks like.
The funny thing is that I actually saw his motorcycle in person only a few days ago. Me and a group of guys was riding along Mesa Grande Rd in San Diego County, and he happened to zip right past us. Later on, we ended up at The Hideout, and his bike happened to be there also, and spent about 10 minutes checking out the John Deere themed details.
Then out of pure coincidence, he e-mails me.
