Jewell Industries, who makes the Dyna-Mitt, announced the release of their new product today. It has the shape of a mitt, allowing you put your hand into it. The cloth is made of ultra micro-fiber construction, with more than 175,000 soft fibers per square inch (that's 68,898 fibers per square centimeter for you metric riders).
The micro-fibers are said to lift and trap dust, dirt, and lint particles so they don't get left behind to scratch or mark delicate chrome and painted surfaces. Perfect for you bikers who spend more time cleaning than riding.
Sorry, math fails the metric-minded again.
ReplyDeleteThere are about 27,125 soft fibers per cm^2.
Should've divided by 2.54 again for the 2nd dimension(LxW). Were you working on that mars lander?
