ConAgra Foods announced yesterday that it signed a multi-year licensing agreement with Harley-Davidson to produce a new brand of beef jerky, dubbed "Harley-Davidson Beef Jerky".
"Tough jerky for tough bikers", I imagine.
Tom Parsons, Harley-Davidson's acting general manager of general merchandise, said that...
Harley-Davidson Beef Jerky will be available in three flavors, Original, Teriyaki and Pepper, and sold in 3.25-ounce packages. Shipping is expected to begin in January 2007 to convenience stores and authorized Harley-Davidson dealerships.

Harley riders live for the time they spend on their motorcycles, and beef jerky is a convenient food for the open road. It's a great way for riders to grab a snack and keep on rolling, and we look forward to working with ConAgra Foods to bring this road food to market.I wonder why Harley-Davidson didn't opt to use "hog" meat instead?

Aaaaahhhh Finally! Breakfast of RUBions!
ReplyDeleteI am not a biker nor am I "tough" but this is the best jerky I have ever tasted. Never a nasty fatty chewy piece. My favorite is the Teriyaki. Very, very good!
ReplyDeleteHell yeah! Excellent jerky. I recommend giving it a try, you might like it.
ReplyDeleteVERY VERY good jerky!! I've only found it in a Wal-Mart in OH...where else is it sold?
ReplyDeletedidn't all harley davidson dealers recall the beef jerky because it might contain 1% of that bad beef going around????? heard that from a salesperson from HD
ReplyDeleteI hope to God that it doesn't have 1% of the bad beef in it. This is one of the best beef jerky's I have ever had. My favorite is the peppered.
ReplyDeleteI agree that this is the best jerky I've ever had. Tender, not stringy, delicious flavor, seems to cost less the couple places I've seen it - everything is right about it, except that it's hard to find. :(
ReplyDeletei found that its the best beef jerky ever but can't find anywhere anymore. Very disappointed. If anyone knows what store to find it in can you please share the info.. Thanks!!
