Women want leather to be sexy, strong and stylish, so not all leather jackets will do. Clothing is more than practical for women, and River Road understands this. I ordered the River Road Rambler Women's Distressed Leather Jacket from Helmet City recently. I was pleased to find out that Helmet City has all the gear I need for riding, not just helmets! The solid construction, heavy weight leather, durable materials and stylish fit are perfect for a woman who rides as many miles as I do.

According to their website, the Rambler Women's Distressed Leather Jacket has the following features:

The jacket was everything it was promised and more. I was astounded by the protective shield this strong leather created when riding up the California coast last week. The temps had only dropped into the 50's, but with the mist in the air for a midnight ride along the Pacific Coast Highway, I still felt completely snug and warm. I didn't even have the liner in that evening and I was still completely warm and protected.

The closure at the neck is comfortable and does not pinch or buckle. Manageable zippers with large tabs for use with gloved fingers make reaching in a pocket effortless, as the jacket holds it's shape so the zipper can be closed just as easily. No more struggling to pull my ATM card out at the gas pump!

The fit is snug, as promised, and perfect for isolating out those cold winds. The zippered pockets and vents are perfect for ventilation when needed, as I rode through Los Angeles traffic during rush hour in 85 degree temps. Needless to say, the heat from the asphalt, other vehicles and my own pipes made my core temp rise quickly, but with a few zips, I was comfortable again. Once I made my way to open roads and moving at 70 mph, I was able to zip back up without stopping.

Strong, solid and sexy, this Rambler Distressed Jacket is exactly what most women need. For the rider who stays close to home but wants to always look her best or the rider who puts 16,000 miles on her two-wheels in 6 months, like me, this jacket is ideal!

Here are a few fashion ideas for the biker chicks to get more use out of a various, stylish, leather jackets. The Rambler Distressed Leather Jacket would work great with all of these ideas ~
